カイロの猫たちの記録 ぐっすり眠る猫 Heather Hermit
エジプトのカイロ在住のロシア人デザイナー、ヘザー・ハーミット（Heather Hermit）さんは二匹の猫を飼育しています。先日、拾ってきて病院で治療し、面倒を見ていた子猫のラムセスはモスクワで無事引き取られ、一時は緊張した同居猫たちも今では落ち着いたようです。秋日よりの中、ぐっすり眠る猫のセクメトについて書いてほしい、と依頼すると、こういう言葉が返ってきました。
”Oh I don't actually know what to write about it. She was just sleeping on the table.”
「いったい何を書いたらいいのか、見当もつきません。猫はテーブルの上ですやすや眠っているというだけなんですから」
