15,000 people rally in Hibiya Park to protest against COVID vaccine ‘Protecting lives from the WHO’
|
On the afternoon of 31 May, a rally was held in Hibiya Park Concert Hall in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward to protest the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Japanese Government-led new vaccination program, claiming that the COVID-19 vaccine is harmful. The rally, organized by the National Movement to Protect Lives from the WHO (Led by Chikatsu Hayashi), was attended by some 15,000 people (according to estimates by Nikkan Berita). The open-air concert hall could not accommodate the crowd, which filled Hibiya Park. After the rally, participants held placards and banners with messages such as ‘Withdraw from the WHO! ’, They marched through Chiyoda Ward and other areas.
